The 3rd Transnational Meeting of the partnership of the project will take place on the 10th, 11th and 12th of May 2010 at the conference room of the Hotel Primus in Ptuj, Slovenia. The partners will be gathered to work on the project's implementation and welcome the new Spanish partner to the partnership. For more information please refer to the agenda of the meeting. |

ZERO WASTE project's INFO DAY in GENOVA One of the major celebrations for the World Environment Day 2010 is planned to take place in the Italian city of Genova and it includes 3 days events among which conferences on biodiversity and waste management. The City of Genova will host the World Environment Day, June 5th, promoted by United Nations Environment Programme. On the 3rd of June 2010, Eurocities working group on waste management will be gathered in the City Hall of Genova, while on the 4th of June 2010 a conference under the title "Genova for sustainable waste management" will be hosted at Palazzo Rosso - Auditorium. The project "Zero Waste" will be presented at this conference with its activities and opportunities for exchange of best practices on strategies and tools of waste reduction by the Italian partners - Municipality of Ragusa. The presentation of the project is part of the info day organized by the Municipality of Ragusa grabbing the opportunity of the World Environment Day to promote the project and empower policy makers, stakeholders and great public on issues that refer to sustainable waste management, waste reduction and environmental protection. |

The Italian National Workshop on the implementation of waste management methods and techniques involving local, regional and national authorities, stakeholders, policy-makers, decision-makers and private bodies will take place in Ragusa on November 30th, 2010. The Lead Partner of the Project will participate in the MED Annual Event that will take place in Thessaloniki, on September 22nd-23rd, 2010, in order to represent the Project Zero Waste.
